Katherine is a bilingual therapist with extensive experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families. Katherine specializes in helping clients who struggle with overwhelming or racing thoughts, low self-esteem, sadness, relational problems with a loved one, spouse or partner, and adjusting to new life changes.

Her approach to counseling is person-centered, creating a warm and non-judgmental environment that encourages clients to open up about their current and past struggles. Utilizing ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Gottman Method for couples therapy, she helps clients acknowledge their emotions in the moment, with a focus on living life according to one’s values. Katherine strongly believes in the power of mindfulness and teaches the community about its benefits every month. She also believes in the power connecting physical with mental health, and has experience teaching cycling classes in Lakeland.

Katherine aims to equip families and couples with the tools needed to navigate difficult times and build stronger foundations in their relationships. She is bilingual and offers therapy in Spanish, English, or both languages.
